It has been a busy spring already, with lots of great progress!
Here are some of the exciting updates:

Kidunified Update // Full Production Should Begin Today!

Hello Everyone!
It is customary that Kickstarter Backers (that’s you) to receive updates from the creator (that’s me). For many Backers, this means they enjoy being a part of the journey, and receiving progress updates.
This is the latest from Kidunified:
This month found me increasing my knowledge of the Lunar New Year/Chinese New Year, thanks to a pleasant working relationship with the professional puzzle manufacturers. In China, the puzzle and game factory (along with many companies) shutdown production for CNY, so that their team members could travel back home for a 3-4 week break with family in their home towns. My contact said fireworks and family are essential components of celebrating CNY!
In the meantime, I received a second sample of the Mission: Inclusion Puzzle that my kiddo and I have been building together, while ensuring quality. It looks and feels great! Plus, Kidunified.com has a new look, and I am preparing for pre-orders from additional partners.
Full production was due to begin today, as operations have resumed again for the manufacturer! This is about a month or so later than I had anticipated, due to a slower than expected process of transferring funds into the country (of all things, who would have thought?!). I am told that since Kidunified has now transferred funds successfully, future transfers should be accepted with ease.
With approximately 45 days in production and 45 days to transport to Canada, the puzzles are anticipated at the end of May!
I am determining the feasibility of free local deliveries within Guelph, Ontario, Canada, once the puzzles arrive. If you would like your puzzle dropped off to a friend in Guelph, there is still time to change your shipping address!

Kidunified | Survey for Address Info Sent

Just two quick updates (re: two different surveys):
- If you weren't a part of the first Address Survey group, you will receive this today! Thank you for confirming your address details.
- Today, Kidunified launched a separate Focus Group Survey campaign on Instagram, in Support of KidsAbility. Kidunified is already planning for puzzle number 3, and the input from this Focus Group Survey will greatly assist me in understanding what folks hope for in future puzzles. Please email me at [email protected] , or message me on Instagram, if you will be a part of this. I will be making a donation to KidsAbility for each survey completed, to a maximum donation.

Kidunified update \\ Mission: Inclusion Puzzle sample has arrived!

Happy New Year, Everyone!
Just a quick update to let you know that the sample of the Mission: Inclusion Puzzle has arrived! It really looks great!
In customary Kickstarter fashion, I am updating you on the progress of the project.
Next stop: full production! As we anticipate an early spring arrival of puzzles, I have been working with a talented graphic designer on a retail sales sheet; was invited as an active audience member to an inspiring discussion on gender perspectives by a PhD candidate at Concordia University (which I attended virtually), yesterday; and I will be taking the puzzle sample next week on an adventure to be photographed by a mentor of mine who is changing careers to photography -- great things are ahead!

I hope you are enjoying all of the celebrations and festivities that December often brings!
Since I am guessing there won't be much time for you to fill out the fulfillment survey at this time, there will be no pressure to do so during the school break :) If you do receive one (as a few folks will get one to "test" the survey before others), rest assured I will follow up in January with you if you don't have time to complete it. But, by all means fill it out and check it off your list if you can!
The manufacturer is putting the sample into production, after minor issues with transferring currency for the sample abroad (intermediaries can hold funds for quite a while). The manufacturer has been quite helpful. However, unfortunately, this does put timing for the full production order after the Lunar New Year (when the factory closes for a month). Rather than end of February, I have been given a new date for shipping: end of March/early April. I apologize for this inconvenience. I have been planning for the new year shutdown; however, in the end unexpected delays can happen, and currency exchange is one of them.
